Welcome user to the Hornet Remote Administration Tool Series

This document will show you exactly how to use Hornet 1.0 Public Edition to its full potential.
Included in this Zip file are the folloing files: -

  • Client.exe : 244kb (Packed)
  • Editor.exe : 258kb (Packed)
  • Main.exe : 461kb (UnPacked)
  • Downloader.exe : 357kb (UnPacked)
  • IRC.exe : 370kb (UnPacked)
  • UPX.exe : 87.kb (UnPacked)

  • Now if you are a begginer in the remote administration field then listen carfully.


    Client

    This is the main consol which you will use to remotely administor your victims (control them) This client holds all the operations that you can send to the server inorder to carry out tasks which you wish to do.

    Such as shutdown the remote machine or even reboot it.

    To start, open the client.exe and you have four options (buttons), which are: -

    Enter, this button allows you to get started on the consol

    About, shows a small about dialog

    Minimze, send the application to the task bar

    Exit, closed the program

    Now when you click the enter button the consol will open up and reveal all the options in which the user can browse through.

    Options include: -

    Connection

    This section allows the user to make a connection to a remote IP, Port with a server Pass

    Power

    This section allows the user to control the main power options such as shutdown, reboot and resolution control

    PC Info

    This section allows the user to retrive information on the remote machine, with the option of saving and clearing

    Browse

    This section is in its BETA stages, it allows the user to navigate thru the remote machines folders

    IRC BoT

    Allows the user to send irc bot information to the remote machine for it to make a conenctions and received commands

    Message

    This section allows the user to send windows messages to the remote machine (error messages, information messages)

    Misc

    This section is dedicated to the *fun* side of the server, which can allow the user to a range of miscalculated operations

    Processes

    This sections retreived the users current proccesses, and can also kill a selected task

    Keylogger

    This section allows the user to recored any key strokes made by the user, which also shows windows titles. Aswell as the user being able to save and clear the log

    Server

    This section is about the main server installed on the remote machine, giveing you the option to Kill it, Reset it and view its current informarion

    About

    This section displayed the about application


    Editor

    This Program allows the user to customise the original settings of all the servers, Main.exe, Downloader.exe and IRC.exe. Which allows the user to configre the main data of Hornet services.

    To start, open the client.exe and you have four options (buttons), which are: -

    Enter, this button allows you to get started on the editor

    About, shows a small about dialog

    Minimze, send the application to the task bar

    Exit, closed the program

    Now when you click the enter button the consol will open up and reveal all the edit services options

    Options include: -

    Edit Server

    This will internally open up the editor for the main Hornet server (Main.exe), here you can local the server and read its current settings. From here you can edit the following fields: -

  • Server Name : This is the field which give the remote machine a name for identification
  • Server Port : This is the field which the server will allow access thru
  • Server Pass : This is the field which the server can stop unauthorized access
  • ICQ Number : This is the field which the server notifies which it becomes active
  • Error Message : This is the field which, when the server is run first time, it displays an error so fool the user
  • RegEdit Entry : This is the field which adds a field to the Registry edit
  • Install Path : This is the field which the server installs to
  • Server EXE Name : This is the field which the servers name will be collected from

    Downloader

    This will internally open the editor for the Hornet downloader (Downloader.exe), here you can local the server and read its current settings. From here you can edit the following fields: -

  • Url : This is the field which the user must enter the file from the internet
  • Local : This is the feild which the internet file will be saved to/as

    IRC Bot

    This will internally open the editor for the Hornet IRC Bot (IRC.exe), here you can local the server and read its current settings. From here you can edit the following fields: -

  • IRC Server : This is the field which the bot with make the connection to
  • Nick : This is the field which the bot will take its name from
  • Owner : This is the field which identify the owner of the bot
  • Ident : This is the field which gives the bot its ident
  • Channel : This is the field which, on connection the bot will join and sit on to wait for commands

    Port Scanner

    This will internally open up a simple Hornet port scanner, which you can simply enter a remote IP, starting port and finishing port to be scanned


    UPX

    Ok, after you have completely finished configuring the Hornet services, it is recommended that you *upx* the newly made server. To do this make a shortcut from the servers folder to "C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe". Then open the shortcut, and type the following line in the dos window: -

    (making sure that upx.exe is in the same folder)

    upx -9 [server file].exe [enter]

    This command will make the specified server file 50% smaller in size (compressed), and ready to upload/send to victims.


    IRC BoT Commands

    Here are the external/internal acceptable bot commands: -

    !login : This logs you into the bot
    !coms : This will make the bot list the list of acceptable commands
    !quit : This wil make the bot quit IRC
    !reset : This will reset the bot, disconnect then reconnect
    !cycle #[channel] : This will make the bot join/part flood a specified channel
    !showip : This will reveal the bots IP address
    !join #[channel] : This will make the bot join a specified channel
    !part #[channel] : This will make the bot part a specified channel
    !nick [newnick] : This will make the bot chane its nick to a specified nick
    !version : This will show you the bots version
