Schedule Tasks
Program Start or Open File
Enter the program you wish to start eg.
"notepad.exe" or the file you wish to open eg.
"c:\words.doc" .
The program will be automatically assigned a Program ID.
Program Terminate
Select the Program ID of the Program to terminate.
Program Maximise
Select the Program ID of the Program to maximise.
Program Minimise
Select the Program ID of the Program to minimise.
Program Show Normal/ Activate
Select the Program ID of the Program to activate.
Program Move
Select the Program ID of the Program to
move.
Enter the amount to move horizontally in X eg. -100 or +200 .
Enter the amount to move vertically in Y eg. -100 or +200 .
Program Size
Select the Program ID of the Program to
resize.
Enter the horizontal size in X eg. -100 or +200 .
Enter the vertical size in Y eg. -100 or +200 .
Window Maximise
Enter the exact name of the window to maximise.
Window Minimise
Enter the exact name of the window to minimise.
Window Show Normal/ Activate
Enter the exact name of the window to show normal/
activate.
Window Move
Enter the exact name of the window to move.
Enter the amount to move horizontally in X eg. -100 or +200 .
Enter the amount to move vertically in Y eg. -100 or +200 .
If this is a child window (created within another window) it will
move relative to its
owner window.
Window Size
Enter the exact name of the window to size.
Enter the horizontal size in X eg. -100 or +200 .
Enter the vertical size in Y eg. -100 or +200 .
Explore
Start Windows Explorer.
Optionally the folder to start with can be defined eg.
"c:\win98\system" .
Print a File
The file will be queued to print on the PCs default printer.
Delete File/s
Enter the exact name of the files to delete. eg
"c:\text.txt".
Wild card characters eg "c:\*.txt" may be used.
Be very careful which files you schedule to delete. The scheduler
will not request confirmation before deleting.
Wait for a File
Enter the exact name of the file to wait for eg
"c:\text.txt".
Select which event you want the task list to wait for...
"Created", "Altered" or "Deleted".
Send Characters
Enter the character/s you wish to send to the remote PC
window. By selecting "Special Keys" you can send
"Alt"and "Control" combinations, function
keys F1 to F12 and other keys such as Insert and Arrow keys.
Make sure that the program/ window which will receive the
character/s is activated before they are sent.
Wait Days HH:MM:SS
Wait a fixed time of Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds.
Wait Till Date/ Time
Wait until a calendar date and a time on that day.
Shutdown
Shutdown the remote PC. The command selections are the same as
the main shutdown command.
Messagebeep
Select the number of times the PC will "Beep".
General Points
Files and programs can be named with the complete path eg.
"c:\windows\notepad.exe " or just the name of the file
or program eg. "notepad.exe" . If no path is given then
the scheduler will attempt to use the predefined search paths.
When naming windows eg. for Maximise, Minimise, Move etc.
please use the exact name that appears in the caption area of the
window.
When modifying or deleting a Program Start or Open File
please remove any other tasks listed for this program.
