Operations Documentation + Demonstration
Notice: I am connecting to my own computer running Skull Burrow. No one was infected in this demonstration.
Windows XP Demonstration
1. Open Up Telnet
Start --> run --> cmd.exe
2. Type this in exactly: telnet <skull burrow ip address> 1354 and hit enter
3. You should be greated with a message, once done hit any key and hit enter
4. To show a list of command type help.
5. Now we are going to set the listen port. The listen port tells skull burrow to create another connection on the computer to allow you to connect and transfer data from the host to the remote computer. You can notice that all commands have some sort of notification to let you know that the command was completed succesfully
6. Next We are going to set the remote port which is just like the listen port command
7.Now since in this demonstration I'm connecting to an IRC server so I can mask my ip address I will put in the remotehost as irc.freenode.net
8. Ok so to view that all the commands are set and we are where we want to bounce to type in view. Simply type view at the prompt.
8. Everything looks good lets run Skull Burrow
9. Now everything is running and Skull Burrow should be ready to accept an incomming connection to port 6667. So fire up the irc client and type in the ip address to skull burrow as the host or irc server to connect to and then put the listening port we set earlier which is 6667. I'll be using mirc client.
10. Your done! You should be able to route traffic now and mask your ip address. I would like to point out localhost is in the client only because I was running it on my computer for the example. Replace it with the ip address of the SB server you are working on.
